A fan community for the Comanche Moon mini-series.
Comanche Moon is another Lonesome Dove mini-series, first airing January 13th, 15th, and 16th on CBS. It's based on the 1997 novel by Larry McMurtry. Previous books were Lonesome Dove, Streets of Laredo, and Dead Man's Walk. Comanche Moon chronicles the earlier years of characters "Woodrow Call" and "Gus McCrae."

Karl Urban - (Woodrow F. Call, Texas Ranger) - Born June 7, 1972, Karl Urban is a New Zealand actor who has appeared in numerous films such as The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers (Eomer), The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King (Eomer), The Bourne Supremacy (Kirill), The Chrinicles of Riddick (Vaako), Doom (John "Reaper" Grimm), Ghost Ship, Pathfinder (Ghost), Out of the Blue (Nick Harvey), and the television series Hercules: The Legendary Journeys (Caesar) and Xena: Warrior Princess (Caesar). He's expected to portray "Leonard McCoy" in the next Star Trek film.

Steve Zahn - (Augustus "Gus" McCrae) - Born November 13, 1967, Steve Zahn has appeared in many films including Strange Wilderness (Peter Gaulke), Rescue Dawn (Duane), Bandidas (Quentin Cooke), Sahara (Al Giordino), Employee of the Month (Jack), Shattered Glass (Adam Penenberg), Daddy Day Care (Marvin), National Security (Hank Rafferty), Joy Ride (Fuller Thomas), Riding in the Car with Boys (Ray Hasek), and You've Got Mail (George Pappas). He's also lent his voice to Chicken Little (Runt) and Stuart Little (Monty the Mouth). He's also appeared in plays and guest-starred on television shows.

Val Kilmer - (Captain Inish Scull) - Born December 31, 1959, Val Kilmer is best known for his film appearances in Top Gun (Lt. Tom "Iceman" Kazanski), Willow (Madmartigan), The Doors (Jim Morrison), Deja Vu (Andrew Pryzwarra), Real Genius (Chris Knight), Top Secret! (Nick Rivers), Tombstone (Doc Holliday), Batman Forever (Batman/Bruce Wayne), The Island of Dr. Moreau (Montgomery), Kiss Kiss Bang Bang (Gay Perry), and many others.

Rachel Griffiths - (Inez Scull) - Best known for her appearances in the television series Six Feet Under (Brenda Chenowith) for which she won several awards, she's recently been seen on Brothers & Sisters (Sarah Walker Whedon). Her film credits include Blow, My Best Friend's Wedding, Hilary and Jackie (nominated for an Academy Award) among others.

Elizabeth Banks - (Maggie Tilton) - Born February 10, 1974, Elizabeth has appeared in all three Spider-Man films as "Betty Brant." Her other credits include Seabiscuit, The Forty-Year-Old Virgin, Fred Claus, and Catch Me if You Can.

Linda Cardellini - (Clara Forsythe Allen) - Born June 25, 1975, Linda has been a familiar face as "Samantha Taggart" on ER since 2003. She also played "Velma Dinkley" in both Scooby Doo movies. She's been in several other shows and films including Brokeback Mountain (Cassie Cartwright), Legally Blonde (Chutney Windham), Grandma's Boy (Samantha), and American Gun (Mary-Anne).

Wes Studi - (Buffalo Hump) - Born December 17, 1947, Studi has appeared in Dances With Wolves (Pawnee warrior), The Last of the Mohicans (Magua), The Doors, Geronimo: An American Legend (Geronimo), The Horse Whisperer, The New World (Opechancanough), and Seraphim Falls (Native Water Guardian).

Melanie Lynskey - (Pearl Coleman) - Born May 16, 1977, this actress is known for her role as "Rose" in the television series Two and a Half Men and "Wendy" in the short-lived series Drive. She's also appeared in Heavenly Creatures (Pauline), Ever After (Jacqueline De Ghent), Coyote Ugly (Gloria), Abandon (Mousy Julie), Sweet Home Alabama (Lurlynn), Shattered Glass (Amy Brand), and the mini-series Rose Red (Rachel "Sister" Wheaton).

Ray McKinnon - (Long Bill Coleman) - Born November 15, 1957, McKinnon also played "Long Bill" in the previous Lonesome Dove series, Dead Man's Walk. He's guest-starred on many TV series and has appeared in Sommersby (Lawyer Webb), Apollo 13 (Jerry Bostick), and O Brother, Where Art Thou? (Vernon T. Waltrip). He is also a screenwriter, director, and producer.

Ryan Merriman - (Jake Spoon) - Born April 10, 1983, Merriman appeared in the TV series The Mommies in the early 1990's. He was also the younger version of "Jarod" in The Pretender series. His film credits include Final Destination 3 (Kevin Fischer), The Ring Two (Jake), Halloween: Resurrection (Myles "Deckard" Barton), and The Deep End of the Ocean (Sam Karras/Ben Cappadora).

Keith Robinson (Joshua Deets) - This actor has guest-starred in several television shows and been seen in other plays and films. His credits include the TV series Power Rangers: Lightspeed Rescue (Joel Rawlings/Green Ranger) and Fat Albert. He's had a recurring role on Half & Half.

Toby Metcalf (Ranger Lee Hitch) - Has guest-starred in several television series including Friday Night Lights as "Booster." He was "Blackie Slidell" in another Lonesome Dove mini-series, Dead Man's Walk.

Troy Baker - (Pea Eye Parker) - Born April 1, 1976, Baker has appeared in Striking Range and lent his voice to dozens of anime series and video games.

David Midthunder - (Famous Shoes) - This actor has appeared in Into the West (White Crow), Hidalgo (Black Coyote), and Ghosts of the Heartland.

Sal Lopez - (Ahumado) - Born November 8, 1954, this actor has made dozens of appearances in television series and movies since the 1970's. His film credits include The Astronaut Farmer (Pepe Garcia).

Joseph Castanon - (Newt) - Born August 19, 1997, this young actor has already guest-starred on several television series and has appeared in the films Happiness Runs, Dead Write, and Click

Jonathan Joss - (Kicking Wolf) - Born in 1965, he has appeared in Into the West (Wovoka/Jack Wilson), 8 Seconds (Del Rio), and done the voice of "John Redcorn" in King of the Hill.

Adam Beach (Blue Duck) - Born November 11, 1972, this actor has appeared in Flags of Our Fathers (Ira Hayes), Windtalkers (Ben Yahzee), Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee (Dr. Charles Eastman/Ohiyesa) and was cast as "Det. Chester Lake" on TV's Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.
